I'm a lifelong golfer and truly enjoy teaching people the correct way to approach the golf swing as well as other areas like putting and chipping. There's quite a lot of misinformation out there and I want to provide students the proper mechanics to actually improve. I also ask many questions of my students to make sure they understand concepts so they can correct problems when I'm not there. Golf is a game and it should be fun, so purposeful practice helps people's enjoyment.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We work on basic fundamentals and work on understanding how the golf swing works. I never try to give a student no more than 2 things to focus on in a lesson because it's brain overload!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a Class A PGA Professional since 1998 and have had extensive training in teaching over my career. Several golf schools and seminars over the years. I'm also a coach for First Tee of Philadelphia and a certified club fitter.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Half hour lessons are $60.
Full hour lessons are $100.
Package of 5 half hours - $250
Package of 5 full hours - $425
How did you get started teaching?
I've been involved in golf since I was 8 years old and realized I wanted a career in golf since high school. I started teaching in 1994 and never looked back! I had other assistant jobs but my passion was always in teaching.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with all types of students from scratch players to true beginners. My approach is completely different for both, more video and technology for the better players and less for new players. I've also worked with several junior players.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently held a women's clinic and all 6 of them had a breakthrough from just a couple things I said. Rotate your body and don't worry about weight shift not to get too technical.
It really clicked and they all saw improvement!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Just try a lesson. Don't be afraid to see a PGA pro because we're here to help you and there's no pressure. Golf is difficult and it takes a lot of patience to get better and improve.
