About this pro

Member of the United States Golf Teachers Federation, LPGA Caddy and Sales Rep

Golf is one of the most interesting, and perhaps the most challenging of outdoor sports. To play golf effectively in the right manner, a lot of practice and perseverance is required. The initial hurdle that a new golfer in this field has to go through is the task of buying golf equipment.

This initial period is a very tricky one. Any golfer should have the equipment that can be costumed to make you practice and play well. But you don't have any knowledge either regarding the right equipment to buy or its maintenance. In such case, you would place your “shopping” in the hands of Professionals.
There may be another reason that might come into play, and perhaps this is the most common reason of all, your budget. Most people might not be permitted by their budget to buy brand new golf equipment. However, the real fact is that custom-made good quality golf equipment can be found at extremely low prices.

When one is searching for “custom-made” equipment, though not essential but recommended trait that you need to possess is the confidence in the professionals that are making sure the equipment is right for you, and what equipment you require precisely. Golf Professionals will take every effort possible to make sure you, the golfer, is purchasing the right equipment of your choice.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

When working with students I strive not to "reinvent" the swing, but make sure the fundamentals are correct.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

United States Teaching Federation member LPGA caddie/coach for thirty plus years. Played on mini tours (and won!!!)

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Price are either package deals or by the hour.

How did you get started teaching?

Always knew how to play, but wanted to "learn" the teaching aspect of this wonderful game. Found the USGTF, and rest is "history!!!"

What types of students have you worked with?

All levels of students...some to the best professional women in the World, right up to those that are just starting.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Walking down the fairways with a professional who is about to have a carrer low score!!!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Want to make sure that any "teacher" has the best interest of a student front and center.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Understanding that this game is a never ending learning one, and most "ams" are not going to be able to hit like the male pros they see on TV. What is the need that they want to achieve to make this game one for a lifetime.
