About this pro

Stone Circle Martial Arts Provides training with an emphasis on Chinese philosophy. The development of the student’s character through self-awareness within the training is essential. Most martial arts schools in the U.S. are only physical training with possibly the addition of an ethical creed. Stone Circle Martial Arts focuses more on the traditional Chinese method of self-development focused on the balanced growth of the student.

Training is provided only on a one on one or small group basis. The student will learn self-defense, classical Kung fu (Bagua, Xing Yi, tai chi), chi quong, and meditation. Advanced levels will move the practitioner into the study of weapons.

Martial arts has been a wonderfully fulfilling exploration most of my life. It is a pleasure to see my students resonate with the teachings and gain so much more than they expected from what I can share.

As part of my own training I was required to teach other practitioners to achieve a level of black belt.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have taught martial arts to children and individuals well advanced in age.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Student’s may want to concider what aspects of the Stone Circle MA system they wish to learn.

studies can be focused on only specific areas or they can pursue the entire curriculum.

As example- some students wish to only develop skills in meditation, chi quong, Tai chi.

some student’s only want to learn self-defense.

The student and I can explore where their interests and goals are and develop a private lesson program that best suits their needs.
