I have been practicing meditation and mindfulness for the past 10 years. Prior to mindfulness, I found myself feeling very anxious, moody and overwhelmed. It has helped me to understand my feelings, thoughts and conditioning. It has taught me to be more compassionate and less focused on perfection. I have been teaching for 7 years at my private practice and in schools. I am a certified mindfulness educator and certified school counselor with a Masters of Education from Temple University.
I enjoy being able to help people find their way through stressful situations and to learn to live a more joyful. peaceful life

My experience with Project Mindful has been pivotal...I’ve gained a greater understanding of mindfulness thanks to Jacqui and have embraced it as part of my daily life. My son has developed incredibly helpful skills in self awareness and anger management from his experience as well. Jacqui is one of the most genuine people I know and is wonderfully gifted at guiding youth and adults on a path to more authentic and joyful living.
Mindfulness has allowed my family to slow down the clutter in our minds and realize the truths and lies that constantly invade our thoughts. It allows us to slow down the chatter long enough to ask if it’s really the truth and that usually it’s just a fear- based thought and not reality.
I m a local therapist. I find that learning and practicing mindfulness meditation with Jacquie has made a major difference in my opportunity to remain and return to a sense of calm. I have referred a number of teens to Jacquie: so may teens are experiencing a high level of stress from workloads and expectations. They have let me know learning and practicing mindfulness meditation has made a big difference in their ability to manage stress and feel happy through the busiest day.
We start with weekly sessions for 50-60 min. Focusing on stressors, negative thought patterns and goals. We will practice mindfulness each session and the client will be give a few tools to practice each week.
4-6 sessions are usually extemely helpful and then check in sessions as needed

Look for the right fit. You need to go to someone you will feel comfortable with. Call and speak with them on the phone and get an idea of who they are and what they are about.
Are they willing to put the effort into practicing? If not, don't waste your time or money. If they are, MAKE THE CALL!
