About
I teach/coach Golf for the Love of the Game. Golf is the most overlooked sport in our youth, but once we are exposed to the game there is no turning back. I have been fortunate to help people learn to improve and enjoy the game I Love.
I enjoy the teaching process of progressing through the various aspects of the golf swing, and different facets of the game of Golf. As a Certified Teaching Professional of twenty plus years I have coached at the collegiate level, at the junior golf level, as well as providing private lessons over the years.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Everyone that plays Golf wants to improve and can. Whether you are a beginner, a weekend enthusiast, or have played the game for some time and have the desire to break through to the next level, we will help you improve your game.
Our teaching philosophy is based on the fundamentals of each aspect of the game, and working to improve the basic body movements of the fundamental golf swing.
Private lessons are tailored to the needs of the individual player.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an MBA, and have coached at the Collegiate level, at the junior golf level, and provided private lessons for the past 20 years. I am a certified United States Golf Teaching Professional (USGTF).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Session rates are $65 per hour. We help seniors, juniors, male or female, at any level improve their game. We will design a three, six or eight session curriculum based on your specific goals at a reduced rate.
How did you get started teaching?
I've been a teacher all my life, I taught graphic design for many years. Golf has always been a passion of mine, so it was natural to transition into teaching the game.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught seniors, juniors male and female establish players and beginners. For many years I was a coach within a junior golf program. We graduated several male and female players that went on to college to play for their Universities golf team, and some that went on to establish careers in the golf industry.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We just completed our first week of a six session program with a group of adult women beginners. It was truly a blast, their enthusiasm was energizing and I truly look forward to the next session.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
There are several talented professional golf instructors in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. My advice on hiring a golf instructor would be to make it convenient for you, the closer the better and if you're not getting the instruction you think you need, it's OK to move along and find another instructor.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Set goals. And talk to your instructor about the steps it will take to achieve your goals.
