What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Work with the grip then posture and finally alignment. Explained to the student the reason and importance of a good grip.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In 2000, received my level 3 certification for teach golf and was inducted into the United States Golf Hall of Fame in 2008 for teaching the game
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I do not have a standard fee because fees might be set by the golf course based on the specials or number of students.
How did you get started teaching?
I founded a junior golf program in 1995 and decided to get lessons on how to teach.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have been teaching for almost 30 years and have taught kids as young as 6 years and taught adults as young as 83. In addition, I have taught beginners and well experience golfers and in all cases they have improved.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Teaching a young lady that played for her local college team that when she came to me, she was shooting around 108. In two short years later after working with me on a consistent basis, she shoots in the low 80s.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do your research and check their background.
