I grew up in Titusville, Florida home of the Kennedy Space Center. I played many sports growing up but golf was my favorite. I played well enough as a junior to earn a golf scholarship to Miami University of Ohio. After earning a business degree from Miami I pursued my dream of playing professional golf. I travelled the country playing on various mini tours and competed in the PGA Tour Q School before becoming a club professional. I was fortunate enough to spend a few seasons at Congressional Country Club working with Top 50 US Kids Instructor Stacy Miller-Arndt. Stacy had a big influence on me and really showed me how to relate to kids and make golf fun for them.
Parents, my #1 goal when teaching kids is to have them leave the golf course more excited to play golf than when they arrived. I try to impart good fundamentals on kids but more importantly have fun.
