Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
All new students start in a private lesson and learn about care of the horse and getting the horse ready to ride. The riding portion is different depending on age, experience and attention span of the rider, but always focused on proper balance, security, and confidence. We strive for the rider to understand why and how to ride correctly. At the end of the lesson the Rider must care for their horse again.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20 years teaching experience, graduated from Centenary college with a degree in equine studies. Trained under and worked for multiple high level and Grand Prix riders. Many awards and designations. As an instructor I am always striving to continue my education.
