What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Beginners are one on one lesson 1 hour lessons over 8 years olds. 1/2 hr lessons for under 8 years old
lesson is hands on grooming tacking up, and riding
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified veterinarian technician. certified for horsemanship though the University of Maryland for 4-H program levels 1, 2 and 3 English and Western over 30 years 4-H horse program

How did you get started teaching?
as an apprentice for a riding instructor. then through the 4-H program teaching and then my other farm.

Very young children and showing levels
some therapeutic riding as well
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
A place for everyone but not every place is for everyone
If you are not happy where you Are and try another place don’t let the horse opportunity pass you by
