Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get to know my students on a first-name basis find out what their goals are and come up with a plan that fits in with their daily lifestyle to achieve their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified with United States golf teachers Federation and currently working on my PGA certification. I do a lot of studying a lot of reading and a lot of research so that I can be the best at what I do.
How did you get started teaching?
I got interested in teaching roughly about 15 years ago I was heavily involved in doing club repair and fittings and during a fitting session depending on the level of golfer you are working with they are times you have to work with the golfer to get them to hit the ball consistent and by doing that it was fun to see a good results and a happy golfer and that's what got me involved in teaching the golf swing.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with beginning golfers mid to high handicap golfers and low handicap golfers I worked with juniors and women golfers. I have had good results working with all different types of golfers and do my best to try to make the golfer have an enjoyable lesson and feel comfortable.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Try to find an instructor that is knowledgeable that will talk on your level and simplify the lesson to where it's enjoyable and not complicated.
