About
I have a strong understanding of the golf swing and tailor my approach to how the student likes to learn. Some prefer a feel based approach, where others prefer technical. I try to take each players individuals starting point and develop a plan from there.
It thrills me to see the look on a students face after correcting their problems or hitting shots they have never been able to hit before. At this stage in my life, I get more satisfaction out of helping others succeed than my own personal success.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I base my teaching on where the student is along their golf journey. All players come in at different levels. I will spend the first minutes of every lesson discussing the students history, goals, and ideas of what success will look like for them. Using that information, I will develop an individualized approach for each student.
I use the On Form app in every lesson to video swings to show players what they are doing and how they can improve.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a Physical Education and Health major in college and taught school and coached basketball, football, tennis, and golf in my 11 years in education. I also have coached church league recreation teams for many years.
I have been playing golf for 35 years and have spent countless hours studying and analyzing the golf swing throughout those years. Within the last 10 years I have really dived into more detail regarding video swing analysis and have a working knowledge of trackman numbers. I will incorporate video in every lesson for instant feedback.
