What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I enjoy teaching new students and at first we learn the basics of golf and golf etiquette. I also teach new golfers to hit the ball and make forward progression. Golf is meant to be fun for a lifetime and one we get going we can work on things to help with getting better and more competitive
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been around Golf all my life. I am working at a metro golf course now in Nashville and have worked at one other course in Nashville. I am also in the PGA program
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I have a standard price of 75 per 30 min lesson and depending on you and what your looking for we can do a package price which does save money for the long term
How did you get started teaching?
I just enjoy the game and love to teach and grow the game. Golf and life go hand in hand. I teach because I enjoy it and I want my student to enjoy it.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all ages -kids , young adults, adults and older adults. Men and women
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Right now I spend one hour a week at a metro school introducing the game of golf to 19 kids grades 5-8.
They are have a great time learning and I am enjoying my time with them
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
All teachers are different. Just look for a teacher that loves the game and teaching and you will do well !
