About this pro

I am asked many times about my experience and background in golf.  I am the Nephew of Lou Graham the 1975 US Open Champion and the son of Marty Graham Jr. the premier amatuer player in TN for over 40 years.  Needless to say I started into golf early and became dedicated to understanding its principles.  I have worked dilegnetly to develop my teaching skills.  I am an accomplished player - 1990 TN State Amatuer Champion - as one of many tournaments I placed well in over the years.  Taking my understanding of golf and putting together a coordinated system that allows continual development is my trademark.

I enjoy the challenge of treating each student as an individual but at the same time helping them apply the fundamentals of golf to their game.

I also truly enjoy getting to know other people that love golf!!!!!

Steve Graham is a very well rounded instructor with a deep knowledge of the game of golf. He can be as valuable to the beginner as he can to the tour professionals that he coaches. Through video analysis, attention to detail and great patience, he can be an asset to anyone wanting to improve their game. Another benefit is the indoor practice facility, which insures your lesson will go on despite the weather. If you want to become a better player, I would highly recommend Steve to anyone!

Champions Run Golf Course and the Professional Staff lead by Steve Graham offer a top flight facility for instruction, club fitting, and practice range with a challenging fun course to play. Steve's knowledge of the mechanics of the golf swing and approach to the game place him in elite company for teaching golf. His ability to communicate instruction to his students of all skill levels is impressive. I have had professional instruction starting in Jr Golf - High School- Div. I College and into my Amateur career. I have learned more from Steve in 2 years than the last 20 years. This is why I travel 500 miles for a lesson with Steve. I don't think people who live locally realize the resources they have in their backyard. I wish I lived closer.

Steve Graham at Champions Run has a unique ability to take a complex game and turn it into something simple to understand. His knowledge of the swing is surpassed only by his passion for his students...
