I grew up in an artistic household with my father being a full-time artist. I witnessed his journey from small town arts and crafts shows to major museum exhibitions and someone of national recognition. I'm now a full-time artist myself, and experiencing this same journey, firsthand. This has given me a unique perspective on the business of art, and few artists really get to see this part. I am experienced with numerous mediums but watercolor is my favorite. I teach regularly all over the Southeast, but I am also willing to travel as far as California to teach my students, and I travel to Montana once a year to teach several students in the N ... I started my business here conducting wine & paint classes at the Fairfield Glade Community Center about 3 years ago. I worked in the Arts & Crafts department under Then director Sandy Bame. The classes were super successful and we had good turnout. I also taught drawing classes that were successful. I charge $35. An hour plus gas. I prefer classes of 8 or more and have equipment and paint for two hour classes. I could do single students given good and safe information. Congratulations if interested please email me and we’ll go from there. ... View Profile

Face Painting With Vanessa

We provide full entertainment for any event that you would like. And make excellent money! I absolutely love face painting it's a job where I can create my own schedule and charge my own fees with a super small contract but I've never had to use a contract. People are great and I've never had an issue with payment . I can teach fast designs that can be done in 3 minutes or detailed work for full face paintings. Body work is a lot of fun too and that's the only time an airbrush would come into play. Unless you want to stencil. I started off doing free events then charged 25 an hour and worked my way up to 65 dollars an hour now. And I have a b ... View Profile

Mary Gwyn’s Art

At this point I have been teaching painting and drawing classes, mainly botanical watercolor, for a little over ten years.  My specialty is nature, birds and plants primarily though I do some landscape as well.  I paint in watercolor, oil, pastel but do quite a bit of pencil and ink drawing too.  Silverpoint is a drawing technique I have taught occasionally. My workshops are available as a Zoom lesson or workshop.

Teapot Art Lessons

Teapot Art Lessons

Many people claim that, "I can't draw a stickman to save my life". Personally, it's hard to believe anyone that says that they can't draw or paint. Art is merely an expression of the creator.  I started out with a "How to Draw" book, printer paper, and a #2 pencil. With that book, I taught myself how to create a drawings with graphite and charcoal. As I grew as an artist, I began training in oil, acrylic paints, then followed by training in pottery. Everyday I strive to grow my experience in the arts as well as master my skills in painting and drawing. As I grow my own skills, I also enjoy helping others grow as well! ... View Profile
