About
I’m a retired attorney, former CEO of Country Music Television. I started playing golf at age 19 after playing baseball basically since I could walk, so I had some things to unlearn. I was a member at Brentwood Country Club for twenty years and had my handicap down to 5.6 at one point. I was working at Gaylord when they opened the Springhouse course and played over there with several young pros, took a series of lessons from Mason Rudolph as well as several others. I’ve played at a number of courses on business trips, like TPC Sawgrass, Winged Foot, Amelia Island, shot 79 at the Nicklaus New Course at Grand Cypress the first time I saw it. I’m working on an Internet music project that hasn’t taken off yet, so I need some other projects. My strong suit is putting; I’ve had several pros tell me that they would be on tour if they could putt as well as I can. I’ve always been into fitness and hold a second degree Black Belt in Wado Ryu Karate.
