Malone Golf Academy

Thanks for your interest in Malone Golf Academy!!! My name is Garrick Malone. I grew up in Pleasant View Tennessee. I was introduced to the game of golf by my father when I was 11 and have been hooked ever since. I obtained my first job as a cart attendant at age 12. After graduating high school I decided to forgo college golf to become a Golf Professional. In 2005 I was given the opportunity to be Head Golf Professional at Through the Green Highland Rim Golf Course. I have been teaching and coaching golf since 2006. I left Highland Rim in March of 2014 to open the Malone Golf Academy at Riverside Golf Course. I am very excited to be Teaching at Riverside Golf Course!!!

In January 2005 I was given the opportunity to be Head Golf Professional at Through the Green Highland Rim Golf Course. I coached Sycamore High School and Middle School from 2006 to 2013. I have been teaching and coaching golf since 2006. I am TPI Certified, TPI Golf Mechanic Level 2, TPI Junior Level 2, U.S. Kids Certified, Eyeline Golf 4 Putting Elements Certified, Positive Coaching Alliance Certified, Ping Certified Club Fitter. I have helped students achieve college scholarships, win club championship... I opened Malone Golf Academy at Riverside Golf Course in March of this year

I feel my job is not only to prescribe accurate information but to motivate and inspire golfers to improve their game. I want you to understand what is important for your game an what is not. It is very important to have a clear understanding as to why the problem is occurring, what the correction is, and how this will help you achieve you goals.
