About

I am a private instructor here in Nashville. I teach at many different courses across Middle TN, but I am also available to travel to my students' home course if need be.

As a private instructor my rates are a little more affordable than going to a course professional or head instructor at a course around town, as I have no real overhead besides my time!

If swing analysis is needed, we can take some slow motion videos of your swing that I can text/email to you after the lesson so that you can study the areas of your swing that need to be improved even while at home!

Frequently asked questions

First we need to know what your goals are with the lessons and what you would like to accomplish. The whole point of a golf lesson is to address to areas that YOU feel like you need to improve upon, not what your instructor thinks you should do.

Golf swings are link fingerprints, everyone's is different. You should not try to conform to a swing that does not fit you. My approach to tweaking someone's swing is to improve upon the base swing that you already have. Not chaning it entirely to a swing that works for someone else.

No formal training, but I have been golfing for over 20 years and have taught many beginners/intermediate players. Advanced lessons are available, but we would need to discuss what areas you precisely want to focus upon.

My price system is easy, $1/min. It is the same for 30 min - 60 min lessons. For example:

30 min lessons - $30

60 min lessons - $60

I actually began teaching my now fiance some simple lessons here and there when she realized how passionate about golf I am and that I had a knack for teaching. It spread from there to local lessons to giving lessons around town.

I mainly work with students new to the game and intermediate players wanting to improve upon ball striking, eliminating a slice/hook, and other more focused areas of their swing.

Make sure your teacher completely understand what you want to gain from taking the lesson. Hiring an instructor is pointless if they are not going to help you improve unpon the areas that YOU want to improve upon.

That is the first thing we address when I speak with a new student, What are your goals with the lessons and What areas do you want to address immediately.
