About
I have been a PGA Professional for 10 years and have taught over 10,000 students how to play golf. I was awarded as a national Golf Professional of the Year by ClubCorp in 2015.
At Topgolf, we are redifining the way our students learn to play golf. As a PGA Professional I help students develop and practice the fundamentals of the golf swing in a high-energy environment. We offer 4 varieties of golf lessons:
-One on One Private Lessons
-Group Lesson for 2-6 guests
-Private Events for Fundraising or Corporate Outings
-Join our Group Classes and learn on your own pace and style
I enjoy teaching students of all skill levels but my passion is to teach and train beginner students how to play and learn the game of golf. I enjoy teaching students of all ages at Topgolf and really like to see new families begin to play our games!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We always welcome our new students with a quick introduction to Topgolf and a Q&A of their goals and plans for learning the game. We then decide our game plan for that specific student and tailor the progress for their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a PGA Professional and have taught over 10,000 lessons of all ages. I have trained under many great PGA Professionals throughout the country and graduated from the Professional Golf Management program at Florida State University.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We offer 4 uniquely different lesson types for our students:
One on One Lesson- Private instruction beginning at $89 for One Hour for Adult, $59 for Children ages 17 and younger
Group Lesson- A Private Group Lesson for 2-6 guests is $149 for One Hour (as low as $25 per person!)
Private Event Lesson- Great for Fundraising, Celebrations and Corporate Events starts at $200 for One Hour
Group Classes- Join our scheduled Group Classes and learn on your own time! Price is $29 for a One Hour Class or buy a 5 pack for $125
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching while I was on an internship in Florida. I was invited to join in teaching for a group clinic we were offering and from there I was hooked! I loved to see the excitement on our students faces when they first hit the ball.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages and skill levels. At Topgolf we have a lot of beginning golfers, so our specialty is Juniors and Adults entering the game. We also have Game Improvement plans for more Intermediate or Advanced golfers as well.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have recently had a few students come in for lessons and they had a specific need to learn quickly because of golf outings they had coming up. One of my recent students had not played golf in 17 years and was invited to play St Andrews in Scotland with his boss, this was a great lesson!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a teacher that you can create a relationship with. It is great to learn the game of golf and how to swing but it is more important to have those connections with your teacher and be able to reach out them when you need them. At Topgolf we offer constant communication with our students and encourage students to stay in touch with us in between lessons.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Golf is a great game and involves time and investment, both physically and mentally. Think about what your goals are: do you want to play for the first time, do you want to play better or do you just want to be outside and enjoy the fresh air. Any way you decide make sure you communicate with your teacher the time and investment you would like to put in so that they can tailor a plan for you!
