Gait Keeper Farm is a Hunter/ Jumper farm where children and adults learn horsemanship and riding. Beth Bankemper is the owner/head trainer and has been teaching riding for over 20 years. She still compeats on a national level and wants to instill the passion for this sport to all that want to learn.
Beth Bankemper is the only USHJA (Unites States Hunter/Jumper assoc) certified trainer in middle Tennessee. GaitKeeper farm is a Certified lesson program through the USHJA.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We get to know each other through a series of questions so I can evaluate your riding level. The approiate horse will be matched to your level. GKF strives to make correct and proficient riders. All the while making the riding experiance fun and educational.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a USEF certified trainer
I have over 35 years of expierence working with horses and teaching people how to ride, care for and enjoy these wonderful creatures.

What types of students have you worked with?
I can work with anyone. If you have the desire to learn then I can teach you. I have worked with people who have never even touched a horse to people who show on the national level.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
PLEASE make sure that their lesson horses are safe and in good health and their tack is in good condition. The horse has as much to teach as the instructor . Your saftey and your childrens safty are primary. This is an incredible sport with so much to learn about yourself and about how to ride.
