My daughter Brynn has been riding with Beth since we moved to TN in 2015. We love Beth, her family and her barn! Gait Keeper is truly my daughter's second home. My daughter has not only been given great instruction in riding, she's been taught a tremendous amount about the care for a horse outside of the riding ring. Beth's greatest gift to us has been her ability to help Brynn move past fears and continue to help Brynn grow. Brynn loves how Beth can give visuals with her descriptive teachings, helping Brynn to see what she needs to change in her posture, leg or overall ride. We highly recommend Gait Keeper!

Riding at Gait Keeper Farm has changed the way my daughter rides in unimaginable ways. Not only has she improved her riding skills, she has learned the importance of all that goes into caring for these majestic beings. We love Gait Keeper and highly recommend for new and experienced riders. Beth and her trainers are all amazing. They all go above and beyond at every lesson.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We get to know each other through a series of questions so I can evaluate your riding level. The approiate horse will be matched to your level. GKF strives to make correct and proficient riders. All the while making the riding experiance fun and educational.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a USEF certified trainer

I have over 35 years of expierence working with horses and teaching people how to ride, care for and enjoy these wonderful creatures.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

What types of students have you worked with?

I can work with anyone. If you have the desire to learn then I can teach you.  I have worked with people who have never even touched a horse to people who show on the national level.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

PLEASE make sure that their lesson horses are safe and in good health and their tack is in good condition. The horse has as much to teach as the instructor . Your saftey and your childrens safty are primary.  This is an incredible sport with so much to learn about yourself and about how to ride.
