About
I have been teaching riding for over 20 years! Horses are magical and my favorite thing is to see the smile on people's faces when they get to experience for the first time.
Did you know horses are the most like dogs than any other animal? They are highly trainable and empathetic so they make amazing therapy animals. I've seen horses transform shy kids into talkative and outgoing, as well as calm anxiety riddled adults. We have the sweetest lesson horses that give kid and adult riders confidence in a positive and nurturing environment.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
If you are 100% new to riding, you will have 1 on 1 half hour lessons with our instructors that are all horseback. As you gain more knowledge, you will move through the tiers of our lesson program. If you have riding experience, we ask you to give some details on your background and your goals before you come out so we can pick the appropriate horse for you to start. You will have a half hour 1 on 1 lesson so we can evaluate your riding level and put you into the appropriate group lesson that works with your level and schedule.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Head instructor Alison Koenig: I've been in horses my whole life (now 40) and done all sorts of disciplines and tons of competitions. Now with 2 little kids of my own, I have stepped away from competing to just bring the joy of horses to those without.
Multiple Assistants: Alison has brought up countless students through the ranks of riding. They will often teach beginner lessons or help around the barn to help students get ready for lessons.
