Maypop Farmstead offers sliding scale horseback riding lessons that focus on human to horse connection. We strive to meet any student where they are at — whether they be a total beginner or an advanced rider who just wants to hit some trails! We have a 6 acre property with lots of surrounding neighbors on hundreds of acres where we trail ride. Our youngest rider is two years old and our oldest rider is approaching 90! Some folks join our riding program to learn more about the horse husbandry side of things; to learn more about horse tack, hoof care, body work, etc.
