In my practice, I work with two techniques called Resistance Flexibility and a psoas release called TRE.
Resistance flexibility is a unique way to engaging the muscular and fascial systems using simultaneous tension and elongation.

After resistance flexibility, we begin the second phase, which is the TRE psoas release. The psoas is the most core muscle in the body, connecting the base of your spine to your femur, and is connected in the nervous system to the limbic system, the emotional center in the brain. This system controls the flight-or-flight response and stores traumatic memories. Releasing the psoas hits a deep reset button on your physiological and psychological states.
