Growing up on Lake Austin introduced Greg to a variety of watersports at an early age.
As a competitive kneeboarder, Greg set two National records and competed on the pro tour. After meeting Jimmy Redmon (the Father of Wakeboarding), he began to wakeboard in 1987. His passion for wakeboarding, barefooting, and gymnastics led to a spot in SeaWorld's Baywatch Waterski and Stunt Show, while attending college at Southwest Texas State University. He went on to compete in the pro tour in 1997, wakeboarding on team O'Brien (thanks to help from good friend Todd Weatherill).
