Horses of Hope is a ministry that teaches the Gospel through Giving Horseback Riding Lessons for children (2-18 years old). We strongly believe that horses can show who a child is and we want to bring that out of them. Horses of Hope wants to let them be the children of God that they were created to be!

The best part of teaching a riding lesson is seeing you light up when you realize that you understood what you were supposed to do, you did it, and it worked! This goes for Horseback Riding and for your relationship with Jesus Christ. When we hear about Jesus and we realize who He is we understand, we say yes, we listen, we obey, and we become more like Him!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Teaching: Grooming, tacking, and riding.
Grooming: brushing and cleaning the horse
Tacking: putting the saddle pad, saddle, and bridle on the horse
Riding: Mounting, body position, balance of the body on the horse, asking the horse to walk, turn, and stop.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
13 years of horse experience as a rider
1-2 years of horse experience as a teacher
