My name is Randy Amason and I’m a retired PGA pro and I love to give lessons. I could meet you on the course but my set up is perfect you can come to me as I have an excellent golf simulator, with the ability to go immediately out to the course to play one, two, or more holes all within a typical one hour lesson. I have a group of students where we go for day golf trips as another option. Please call and we can talk about what you would like to focus on you’re game.

2 lessons in and Randy as completely reinvented my game. We worked from the ground up building solid mechanics with my irons. I am also much more confident on my short game as well.

We had the most AMAZING time today with Randy! He is a diligent and knowledgeable instructor who makes learning golf look easy! As a group of moms whove never played golf before along with our kiddos who thoroughly enjoyed the introduction as well, Randy was patient with all of our needs and made sure to answer each and every one of our questions. To our additional pleasure, his most lovely and hilarious wife joined our session to help support us and offer continuous comedic relief. We all left today feeling smarter and more equipped about the sport and most importantly we had an absolute blast! I highly recommend you hire Randy for a small group or one on one to really hone in on improving your skills. This was my first time getting a golf lesson from a professional. Randy was an all around great person to learn from and he truly helped me improve my game!! He has great experience and is very quick to pinpoint problems in your swing. I have been golfing on and off for quite some time but always shot around mid to high 90s. After three lessons with Randy I shot a 41 on 9 holes first time out and really noticed a difference in distance and contact! I highly recommend Randy to anyone looking to improve their game and for the price it is a great bang for your buck!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Starting with correct grip, posture, and swing plane, which I can show readily on my “golf simulator” very visual way to understand at any level, frankly, as it is all about creating a consistent basics swing plane.

How did you get started teaching?
Actually, didn’t start playing golf until I was in the Navy, My teammates on the baseball team started getting me out to play golf with them… and got out of the Navyat the age of 24 and passed my P.G.A. playability test two years later with full credentialing!
