What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First is going through a questionnaire that covers health concerns currently and past. Questionnaire covering their fitness experience and then we go through a fitness assessment and body composition evaluation.
Once we have received all important information we then customize a 16 week program to help achieve the clients goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Im certified through NFPT since 2013. Before professionally working as a trainer I also trained 5 years prior to receiving my license. Alongside training I've also participated in football, basketball and track in college.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My prices change depending on the season.
How did you get started teaching?
I've always been that guy in the gym or on some team leading the way whenever we would workout or do anything fitness related.
What types of students have you worked with?
Ages 8 - 70
Obese, eating disorders, cancer patients, diabetic clients, pregnant women, athletes and body builders.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Of course price will play a part, try to not let it control your decision. Remeber you are making an investment into yourself and you want to make sure you're serious and the trainer unserious about you and his craft as well.
