About
I enjoy teaching beginners to advanced riders and helping to create reasonable goals to reach, and develop a tailored program to reach and exceed them. I don't rush my students or horses, and l believe in building upon correct foundations.
I've ridden for 20 years, and taught lessons and trained horses for over 10. I've got a hunter/jumper background and I do still enjoy teaching those students, but I have switched my focus to western disciplines, specifically barrel racing and western dressage. I have competition experience to the world championship level, and have coached riders up to the national level.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Find out the extent of their knowledge and their current level, learn what they might specifically want to work on and then evaluate where they're at and go from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've had multiple trainers throughout my life and currently work with a dressage trainer to continue my own education.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons are $60 per hour lesson, and package deals can be discussed.
How did you get started teaching?
I've always wanted to give back what my amazing trainers taught me, and I started teaching lessons as an assistant trainer in 2013. My love for teaching has only grown since then.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do your research and try to find out if that person's teaching style works for your learning style.
