I am an experienced teacher, still a performing pianist, who strongly believes in the power of music for balancing the technology that our kids grow up with today. I'm an honors graduate of Barnard College, where I was also awarded departmental honors (music) and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa; I later pursued an interest in musicology, earning a Master’s degree from the University of North Texas.
