I am a seasoned musician, played music all my life. I grew up playing violin and piano from age 5-15. I have played bass guitar since I was 16 and I played bass in various bands both as a hobby and professionally as a touring musician. I have experience with various styles of music including punk, ska, reggae, country, metal, and rock. My ideal student would be a beginner wanting to play bass professionally or wanting to improve or learn new techniques of playing. I am mostly self taught so teaching is also a learning process for me and my lesson plan will largely depend on the student and what they already know.
