Very knowledgeable and super easy to relate to! Will definitely be going back to see him for more lessons.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Well first I like to meet the student and find out what their goals are. How often they are looking at getting lessons and a general basic background of my student so I can better understand them and help them out.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I played college golf at Stephen F. Austin State University in which I was a first team all conference player my freshman year and ranked in the top 50 freshman in the Country. After college I turned pro and played on various mini tours for 2 years competing in 3 Texas State Open events, mulitple Adams Pro Tour events and Fairway Golf Tour events. I finished 12th on the 2013 FGT money list and racked up 8 top 10s and a 2nd place at Waterchase Golf Club losing to Dustin Risdon by 1 stroke. Risdon is a full time member on the Canadien Golf Tour and tour in 2013.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

My standard rate is $50 an hour and if you would like to do a bundled package of 6-10 lessons buy 5 lessons get 1 free or 6 lessons for $250. I also do group lessons if that is something that you would be interested in doing.

How did you get started teaching?

I grew up taking lessons from the best teachers in the game. My short game coach was CJ Goecks who worked with Jaxon Brigman and Brittany Lang (Recently won LPGA event) and my swing coach was Cameron McCormick (Voted #1 teacher in America by Golf Digest) His top student beingh Jordan Speith. So while working with them I learned to take everything that they taught me and store it in my memory bank so when I started teaching I took a little bit of their methods and applied them to my own.

What types of students have you worked with?

All ages 8-70 years old. My teaching methods apply to any age as they are simple and easy to follow. Just give me a try and we will get you started towards acheiving your goals!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I would do your due dillegence but find a coach that you have something in common with whether it be your age, skill level or general knowledge of the game.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

How serious am I about taking golf lessons?

What would I like to achieve/ end result of taking lessons?

Am I coachable?
