message me on facebookWe will then insure you have a solid grip and a sound practice routine.
I believe in starting where you will need to be the most consistent which is 3 feet from the hole and working back to the driver.
But if you have a specific problem area to target we can do that as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Studied under Harvey Penick.
also studied Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, Dave Pelz, Lee Trevino and Johnny Miller.
I have been a student of the game since I took my first swing.
at 70 I am still a single digit HDC.
Shot 68 last year.
This is because I have sound fundamentals, a repeating swing, superb course management, and a great short game.
all of which you can possess.

How did you get started teaching?
Became a student of the game, turned professional, started giving advice to fellow competitors on the practice tee and quickly realized that I was a much better teacher than I was a player.
So here we are.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types and levels of players with equal success which includes.
Special Olympics
Senior citizens
Aspiring professionals
Children, male and female
I truly believe that there are no bad students,
Only bad teachers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Operation Military Embrace annual golf tournament.
Created and run by one of my former students (and scratch golfer) who is now assistant golf and Teaching Professional at Jersey Meadows Golf Club in Houston Texas.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Pick a teacher you can relate to.
someone that is approachable and a good listener.
ask to see his training aids and ask if he can hit a few shots for you.
If his system works he should have no problem executing it for you.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should ask themselves how much personal time they are willing to dedicate to becoming a better golfer.
golf is not a difficult game to play if you have good solid fundamentals and take the neccesary time to ingrain those fundamentals.
Once you "get it", you got it.
