About
My name is Natalie and I am the owner and head trainer at Blue Rose Equestrian Services! I have been riding horses for approximately 8 years and have been doing so full time for 3! I have worked in many different barns and disciplines such as hunter/jumper, endurance, polo, barrel racing, and racetrack work. I started this buisness to share my love and passion for horses and the amazing connection you can have while riding them! I believe horses can teach us many things such as confidence, patience, self awareness, and compassion just to name a few! I work with all levels and styles of riding! I accept students 8 years and older! My lessons will teach you more than just how to ride a horse! You will learn what it takes to take care of a horse, how to catch and treat injuries, and even the basics of training and equine psychology!
I also train horses and perform equine massage after years of study in both Texas and Hawaii!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always start out every new client with what I call an assesment If they have riding experience prior to working with me. This will cover everything from catching and grooming, to tack up and riding, to cooling down and post-ride groom.
If the student has no prior experience no problem! I will show them the ropes step by step then undo everything and have them do it! This will allow me to see how the student learns so that my lessons can match their learning style!
Experienced or not I always have a quick interview to discuss goals, fears, any physical ailments that I need to know about ect so that I can tailor your riding to best fit you!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
8 year of riding both English and western riding!

are all things I have studied and participated in!
I also did a year abroad in Hawaii to further my riding and my training skills, and ended up with so much more! Including Equine Massage!
