Hello! I’m Nicole! I grew up in Ohio riding hunt seat and competed on the Ohio University Equestrian Team all through college. I moved to Texas 6 years ago and continued to ride and barrel race with my horse.
I work with an amazing team of riding instructors at Callegari Equestrian Center in Cypress, TX where we offer English and Western riding lessons from beginners to advanced riders. We allow you to ride your horse or one of our lesson horses on the property if you do not own a horse.
I believe that horseback riding is more than just getting on and riding. I strive to build happy and healthy relationships between the horse and rider from the ground.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I love to learn about what the strengths and interests are for each rider and then cater our program to their personal goals. I start with a basic introduction to horse care and groundwork and move on to build a lasting relationship with horses on the ground and on their back.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have owned and ridden horses for over 12 years and am well versed in all horse care and types of riding.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
One hour private lesson = $90 or $75 for a 4 lesson package
Half an hour private lesson = $60
Semi-private, hour lesson= $70 per student
How did you get started teaching?
I started my love for teaching back when I would help out with a pony club at the first barn I learned to ride. Since then I have been a classroom teacher as well as a riding instructor.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with students of all ages and skill levels.I make our program work for each student and their personal needs.
