TESTIMONIALS

“I’ve been dealing with sharp groin pain for 10 years now. I would just deal with it and hope after I warmed up enough, it would go away. Some days the pain would be excruciating and I wouldn’t want to exercise at all. I had been to multiple doctors, paid thousands for X-rays and MRIs and continually told to rest.

One morning I couldn’t handle being in pain anymore and I reached to Allison Bond and told her the pain I was dealing with during certain movements. In just minutes she was able to diagnose how my past history as a track runner and CrossFit athlete caused by quad muscle to become dominant in my movement, weakening my glutes and hamstrings.

She gave me some movements to strengthen the glutes. After the first 15 minutes of the glutei activation workouts, I stood up and my body was FLOODED with relief. It was a complete euphoria as my body moved in an entirely different way. I started incorporating the movements daily into a morning routine and just 7 days later, I can hold weight into a deep squat pain-free. I’m again excited to start on a new fitness journey with no pain. I highly recommend Allison to any athlete dealing with pain.” - Jacob Kraft, runner/CrossFit athlete

“I have been a private client of Allison’s for more than two years now and can say, with confidence, our work together has increased not only my physical health but also my mental health. Allison has the ability to tailor our sessions to address any specific issue or desire — from aches and pains to core strengthening. She is the consummate professional and also extremely personable. I never hesitate to recommend her, given the opportunity.” - Lisa K.

“I had intense hip pain due to torn cartilage in the acetabular labrum (hip joint). Even after following my osteopathic surgeon’s prescribed treatment of cortisone shots and physical therapy, I still had daily pain and I was unable to use my body in the ways I most enjoyed. I was told the next step was surgery.

I felt completely stuck. Then I found Allison.

She assured me that her work could allow me to avoid surgery and that I could eventually be pain free. And that is precisely what happened.” - Kerri N., dancer

“Finding out my 13 year old daughter had scoliosis and needed to be braced, was a difficult time and transition not only for my daughter, but for all of us! Thanks to Allison and her exceptional knowledge in her field, her patience, her compassion, and encouragement, she has been able to help us in many ways. Our private sessions with her have not only been beneficial to my daughter physically, but also mentally. We look forward and enjoy every session with her. I couldn’t imagine anyone more competent and knowledgeable in her field.” - Nikki J.

“Allison’s private lessons have been one of my greatest discoveries in recent years. I’m not one to exercise when I can avoid it, but I actually look forward to yoga each week and can tell a considerable difference in how I feel if I have to miss a session. Allison has an amazing depth of knowledge and can lead you through exercises that address any problem area. She has my full confidence and devotion!” - Tammy M.

"A few months ago I had piriformis syndrome, which affects the sciatic nerve. It was painful and left me unable to run. I had no idea that my hips were related to the pain, but they were. Allison showed me a couple of things to do that relieved the pain immediately. After that relief she then worked with me on ways to prevent it from happening again in the future. I would recommend her to any runner who wants to stay fit, strong, healthy and free of injury.” - Jordan

“Had to mention this. Just got in my car after my private lesson and had to readjust my rearview mirror. I got taller!” - Linda Y.

“Discovering I had scoliosis and would need to wear a rigid brace for the majority of the day, was incredibly hard for me to adjust to, especially in the beginning. However, after just one session with Allison, I knew I would be getting the help I needed and felt more positive about the transition. Since then, she has made every visit enjoyable, interesting, and productive, providing me with specific exercises which help me stay aware of my body, posture, breathing, and overall health. I couldn’t do it without her!” - Soraya S.

“I am amazed at how much relief I got in under two minutes. I thought I was going to have to suffer through the day today but because of the two-minute video you sent me, I was able to enjoy it. Thank you, Allison. You are truly gifted and I am forever grateful to be able to move again without pain.” - Ashley N.

Growth! I get so excited to see people realize and experience themselves as powerful and strong. There's a magic light inside everyone that shines a little brighter each time I see them and I am so honored to be in the presence of that magic.

Frequently asked questions

The first lesson is asking questions, exploring the body, assessing what's the level at which someone will experience themselves as powerful and be challenged.  When working with injuries, it's about understanding exactly what that student is dealing with and finding the right mechanics and the right energy that will have them feel better fast.

I have several certificates:  E-RYT-500 and YACEP and Daoshi.  Those mean I'm a very experienced teacher and I'm certified to train ygoa teachers.  And the Daoshi is I'm a certified spiritual teacher.  I've had over 3,000 hours of training with some of the best teachers in the world.  I've taught over 5,000 classes and I get results!  I have written several courses, including teacher certification trainings, retereats and programs that help people avoid surgery and recovery from injury.
