About

At ZK Performance Horses we strive to create independent equestrians and allow riders to begin problem solving. We do our best to keep the child ahead of the horse so that they become confident in their ability to make their goals happen. Our program is based on the possibility of the student acquiring or handling other horses in the future and we create their foundation with this in mind. ZKPH also offers students who want to compete, the opportunity to join a show team.

Watching our students exhibit good horsemanship is the most rewarding aspect of my work. When they accomplish a goal that they have been working towards keeps us striving to improve our programs. Hard working students are the best!!

    Frequently asked questions

We offer free meet’s greets. This allows the student and their family to meet the instructor and horses before beginning lessons. Our students start from the ground up, where they learn the process of preparing their horse to ride. Each lesson builds on the previous session.
Our instructor has been ridding since she was a toddler. She got interested in the competitive side of equestrianism in 2008 and began to train horses on her own. She also volunteered in the life skills department at a local high school. The first students that she had the privilege to instruct were special needs.
Meet’n greets are free. We only offer package plans for purchase.

All ages and levels are welcome.

What do they wish to get out of their time with us? Any specific goals for their equestrian journey?

Are they willing to work hard to achieve their goals?
