What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It all depends if n the student. My many years of experience allow me to easily help the student on what they seem to have the most difficulty with. I encourage questions, for I find them to be a great tool towards achieving complete understanding of any topic.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a language teacher, I studied Spanish in Mexico City, from kindergarten to middle school. I continued my studies here and I've worked as a translator for two companies.
As a martial arts instructor, I'm currently a Muay Thai t acher at a MMA gym. I studied taekwondo do for ten years, Muay Thai for 5 years, and jiu jitsu for 5 years. All which I'm still practicing. I'm also currently an MMA fighter for the LFA.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching at the age of 13. I started by helping out with the 4-6 year olds at my old taekwondo school.
What types of students have you worked with?
ive worked with kids as young as 3, to people as old as 60.
I have worked with people who are completely new to any physical activity, as well as high level athletes from other sports.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
i witness a kid that I teach who was able to effectively win a sparring match against another very experience student. After having a difficult time adapting to the sport.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
When it comes to martial arts, be sure that your instructor is well experience and qualified. It is s dangerous sport, and if not taught or practiced correctly, it can take a toll on your body.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
