Chloe E. says, "In the matter of one training lesson, I could already see the difference in the perfecting of my son's hit. Hadley was extremely personable, and amazing with correcting techniques and guiding a natural flow of progression. He pushes your player just enough, while ensuring they feel the difference in whats considered their best hits, and worst. The training facility is extremely nice with an array of upgrades compared to other facilities, and very easy to find. Anytime my son is back home from college he will be training with Tracy! Looking forward to the next session on Thursday!" Read more

My approach to every single ball player is different since no two players are alike. I will observe the mechanics of which they are already are accustomed to and make minor adjustments to make everything more fluid and to get the best out of every player. I played baseball all the way from the time I was nine years old till I was twenty-two in college playing multiple positions. I have vast knowledge in all positions that can and would help make an improvement in your players game. I enjoy passing down the knowledge to the new generation coming up. Since I was nine years old my parents were able to put me with the best coaches which made me i...

I'm 28 years old and I can still perform at a very high level everything I teach. I'm very hands on. If you're a catcher I can pitch simulated innings with 5 different pitches I can rev up to 90 or dial down to 70 depending the players age and ability, or if you're a pitcher and you throw 98mph, I can catch your bullpens, same with batting practice. From setting it on a tee or soft toss to simulated at bats but my favorite clients are children 😁 From experience, as a young player who aspired to play under the big lights, it was much easier for me to listen to a coach or trainer that you can see with your eyes do what they're teaching. I rem...

The difference between me and all the other coaches is that I am currently a student- athlete, that has a passion for teaching. Alittle about myself, I am 20 years old , and currently a rising junior at Austin college in Sherman Texas. I am a double major in computer scinece and mathmatics. I am a right handed pitcher with a 92 mph fastball. My teaching lessons would not be based off of time , but for the principle of the understand the concept I teach that day. The amount of time for each lesson has no limit. It last as long as the principle is to teach. With the knowledge that I have accumulated throughout the years from playing little lea

Your Baseball Training questions, answered

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Lessons.com.

How much do private baseball lessons cost?

Private baseball lessons cost $50 to $75 per 30-minute lesson and $80 to $140 per 1-hour lesson. The price depends on your location, the instructor's experience and reputation, the student's age, and whether the lesson includes extras like a video analysis of the player's performance.

Many coaches offer lower prices per lesson if you purchase a package that includes 6 or 10 lessons. The average package prices are:

  • 6 pack of 30-minute lessons: $270 – $420
  • 6 pack of 1-hour lessons: $450 – $720
  • 10 pack of 30-minute lessons: $400 – $600
  • 10 pack of 1-hour lessons: $700 – $1,100

Are private baseball lessons worth it?

Private baseball lessons may be worth it if your child currently plays the sport, loves it, and has expressed an interest in improving their skills and performance. Private lessons can help your child advance their skills, develop good habits, and avoid forming bad habits.

Motivation and a drive to improve are key factors in whether or not the lessons will actually help your child. It's important for your child to practice in between private lessons.

Children who receive private baseball lessons are usually more likely to advance to playing at higher levels than children who only receive group coaching during regular team practice. However private lessons don't guarantee your child will play collegiate or professional baseball.

What is the difference between private and semi-private baseball lessons?

In a private baseball lesson, the athlete trains one-on-one with an instructor who tailors the lesson specifically to their needs and skill level. In a semi-private lesson, two athletes work together with one instructor. Semi-private lessons, also called partner lessons, typically cost 10% to 20% less than private lessons. However, because the trainer's attention is divided between the two athletes, the athletes don't get the same level of individualized instruction as they would in a private lesson.

What age should you start pitching lessons?

Baseball instructors generally recommend that children start pitching lessons at around 8 to 12 years old, though there are no age requirements or exact rules. Learning fundamental pitching skills early on can help your child avoid developing bad habits that will be difficult for them to break later.

However, your child should not start taking pitching lessons until they are comfortable throwing the ball as well as catching the ball one-handed.

Zach has been unbelievable with our son. He knows when to demand more and when to praise. He works around our schedule and shows a genuine interest in our son's progress. During our son's tournament, Zach reached out to see how Landon was doing. Can't say enough great things about Zach

I Was a 1st time user of the Lessons.com website looking for instruction for my 8 yr old son. Luckily I got a message back from Coach Russ. First thing I noticed is his love for coaching. He is very knowledgeable about techniques that teaches kids the right way. He is very patient and encouraging to my son, and I have seen the results right away. My son loves to go to lessons from him, and we still use coach Russ. I would 100% recommend him for any age. I promise you that you won’t regret it.
