My name is Núria Enríquez, I have a PhD in Linguistics (University of Houston). For more than 16 years I have been Spanish teacher (Spanish as a foreign language, second language and heritage language), linguistics, as well as teachers trainer at various universities in Germany and in the United States. My research interests revolve around the acquisition and learning of Spanish as a foreign and heritage language, as well as its psycholinguistic and neurolinguistic aspects.

I love teaching and seeing my students make progress. I started teaching Spanish back in 2000 at the request of some friends. I have 20 years of experience teaching languages, I am a ESL certified instructor.

I’ve been a Spanish speaker all my life. Ive worked with students since 2011 from kinder to 12th grade. My degree is in Hispanic Studies and at the moment I teach at South Houston High School and taught there already for two years. I love helping my students succeed, not only in Spanish, but anything in life.
