I began riding at the age of 3. My grandpa bought me a pony (her name was Miss Maud). I won my first ribbon at 3 years old. Growing up I have rode many types of horses . I've competed in many events such as Barrel Racing, Straights, Poles, Goat tying, & Roping. I have been all over Texas & Won Numerous Saddles, Buckles, trophies & money. I am very interested in teaching others how to be confident &win in the sport of Rodeo.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to start with grooming the horse. Then depending on their experience , have the Rider start warming up by loping in circles.
. That will give me enough time to see what they do know about a horse.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been riding since I was 3 years old. I run barrels and rope. That's the only hobby that I've had all my life and that's all I know how to do. I've competed in many rodeos I've won numerous buckles ,trophies & saddles . I have given horseback riding lessons to the youngest and the oldest . Age is no problem .
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
If I'm providing the horse and equipment my price is set at $70 per hour at my arena. If I have to travel to you my price will be different depending on the location.
How did you get started teaching?
I come from a rodeo family. As I grew older I made a name for myself. I have taught my son , nieces & nephew's to ride. And helped many people gain confidence & overcome their fear in riding horses.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with kids with special needs . I've worked with all ages. Anyone can learn.

Watching people that I rodeoed with that competed in the NFR on TV.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the instructor is experienced and qualified to give the proper lessons needed.
