I have 45 yrs. of golf experience and played on golf scholarship at East Texas State University. My teaching resumé includes 4yrs Bruce Sims Academy at Twin Creeks in Allen where I taught 80 juniors from 6-15yrs old and adults. I then taught at Stonebridge CC, the Dye course, in McKinney. I currently teach at Watters Creek, formerly Chase Oaks in Allen. I specialize in video analysis and have taught all skill levels beginner to expert, junior to senior, male or female.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Beginning golfers will get fundamental instruction on grip, stance, posture, and alignment. Lessons will include video analysis and demonstration. Students will receive instructional videos based on their needs as they are assessed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
45 yrs. Golf experience. Golf scholarship in college (ETSU) Caddied in the Byron Nelson (1982) at Preston Trail CC. Graduated, passed PAT (Players Aptitude Test) for United States Golf Teachers Federation(USGFT) in March 2020. Certified in video, club fitting, Faults and cures, rules, ball flight laws, etc.

1hr. Lessons for adults $70, 3/$200, 5/$300 Lessons for juniors $60.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching as a scratch amateur at 15 and earned my teaching certification during COVID.

Juniors, girls and boys, with Bruce Sims Academy. Adults, male and female Ridgeview Ranch, Twin Creeks, Stonebridge CC, and Watters Creek.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you are willing to put the work in, find someone with extensive knowledge of the game who is interested in your success.
