About this pro

My name is Hannah Hughes. I am currently a Golf Instructor through Hank Haney Golf, I went to a golf academy school and graduated there with a Occupational Associates Degree. I am willing to teach any age, I am all open to helping people understand the proper way to swing a club so they can enjoy playing golf with family and friends the right way or if you want to take your golf game to the next level. I do not mind driving to you and meeting you at your home golf course, whatever makes my customer/client feel more comfortable. If you are interested in coming out to Hank Haney in Lewisville to get a lesson, call 214-690-3194 or shoot me a text and I will get right back to you.

No need to hesitate, ask me any questions and I would be more than happy to answer.

I live in the Rockwall area just East of Dallas and I do not mind driving to you.

I enjoy seeing progress, I enjoy seeing excitement in that great shot, I enjoy seeing the clients face brighten up and say "Now thats a GREAT shot" or "I understand now!" I'd love to see you so excited about your hit that you cant wait to come back and hit more, I love how classy the game of golf is. My favorite part about golf is that you can play until you're older, Golf is unique in so many ways and getting to instruct golf is just the cherry on top.

She did a awesome job helping me understand the concepts of a great swing! Simple, easy, fum and most of all I'm hitting better shots than i have before!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

First asking if they have ever played golf, secondly if they have any injuires that will effect the swing, thridly see if they can even swing a club and last I will do a drill called the three tee drill, whichs helps with making contact with the middle tee and hitting it out of the ground. Once they can hit a tee out of the ground I will move them to a ball on a tee, and once they conquer hitting a ball off the tee comfortably we will move the ball to the grass and lay the ball on a good lie. ( This goes for any age beginners or new to golf )

I will do alot of moving in the persons swing, I will go by a 4 step swing.       "SETUP is 1.       "READY (take away) is 2."     "IMPACT ( making contact with the ball ) is 3."    "FINISH is 4."

I make sure to make the lesson as simple as possible. Less imformation the better it will be to understand the proper way to swing... now dont get me wrong I will give you some great imformation of course, but never ever will I overload you to too much imformation. Golf is more mental than physical so my goal for you is to take away what you learned in the lesson and practice it on your own time also, so for the next time you come back and have a lesson with me you will know exactly what we have been going over. Also, you will feel more prepared for your next lesson.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
