Colonial Equestrian Center

I have been taking horseback riding lessons from Laurie for 10 years now. I have gone off to college and still returned to take lessons. The quality of instruction is above and beyond here. Laurie is a fantastic teacher. She is extremely helpful and always strives to make her lessons a positive and rewarding experience. I have learned and progressed so much as a rider through Lauries teaching. Her horses are all very well cared for and are phenomenal lesson horses.

Our daughter, Mackenzie, took horseback riding lessons from Laurie Fiette for over 10 years (until she went to college). Laurie is an excellent instructor. She has years of experience and loves to share her knowledge about riding and taking care of horses. She loves her students and treats them as one of her own. While our daughter did learn a lot about the hunter/jumper style of riding, she learned so much more than that. She learned how to be responsible for a horse and all that goes along with caring for a horse, but also how to be responsible in other areas of her life. Those were some of the best years being a part of Colonial Equestrian Center. It definitely felt more like a family. I highly recommend it!

Of all the equestrian centers my daughter rode at, Colonial Equestrian center in Princeton is by far the best! Laurie has a God given talent for teaching and inspiring her students. The stalls are the cleanest Ive ever seen and the horses are so well cared for! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to get their kids started in horse back riding.

This is absolutely the best barn in the North Texas Area. Laurie works hard to teach her students the right skills to be a great horseback rider in a fun and positive environment. Laurie and her husband, Philippe, take incredible care of their horses and really care about their barn family. I am in college and I still go back to visit and take lessons with Laurie. It is a great, family barn to be a part of.
