About this pro

With a combined experience of 30 years, Cody and Shawnee share a passion for the equine sport. We take pride in developing all-around horsemanship both in and out of the saddle. The goal is for the student to surpass the teacher. Cody is a farrier by trade, ex bull rider, and a ranch owner. Shawnee has dabbled in many equine sports but, has taken on barrel racing as her main project right now.

We love to see the spark ignite and watch as the flame grows in each of our students! We love to see our horses and clients excel and even surpass us!

Shawnee was very good with our 6 year old granddaughter. Looking forward to the next lesson. The horse seems perfect for this age group.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We talk about the goals of riding and if it is leisure or competitive. From there, we take one lesson to figure out what the student's skill level is and create a custom lesson program from there.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Years and years of life experience. Taken lessons when younger. Worked with other trainers.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

$40 for beginner/Basic

$50 for Sepcialized

How did you get started teaching?

Had a few people come to me asking for me to teach. So from there, it grew.

What types of students have you worked with?

All sorts. Beginners to advance. Those with mental illnesses or handicapped.
