-I can teach beginners to All State level repertoire -I am a semi-professional player, currently playing with Rockwall Philharmonic Orchestra (Section Violin 1), while juggling a full time finance job. -I recently auditioned and contracted as a Section Violin (1st Violins) role with the Sherman Symphony Orchestra (September 19, 2023) -I also Won a Substitute Role with the Plano Symphony Orchestra (September 9th, 2023) -I have numerous years of experience playing in recitals, stage performances, solo competitions with multiple rounds, and invitations to professional orchestral auditions. Kerri Parr lives in Richardson, Texas and performs as a principal member and Co-founder of Uptown Violins. She has taught violin lessons for nine years to ages ranging from three years old to high school students. Kerri earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Violin performance at Baylor University, and studied private lessons under Dr. Eka Gogichashvili. She served as Concertmaster of the Baylor Symphony, and performed with the Waco Symphony for three years. In 2010, Kerri was one of the students selected to tour with the Baylor Symphony in Belgium.
