Hello! My name is Arutyun Piloyan. I hold a Master’s degree from Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music and a Bachelor’s degree from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. I prepare students for all types of auditions and competitions, including HYS Orchestra, MTNA, TMEA Regionals/All-State, as well as college auditions and advanced repertoire. I began learning to play the violin when I was 3. I attended one of the top conservatories in the world and have since led a steady career of performing and teaching. I am comfortable with all ages and levels. I enjoy inspiring and educating. I teach each student differently, based on his/her personal goals.

I value everyone’s needs and desires in learning to play an instrument and will be happy to be helpful with my knowledge. I’m open to welcome anyone who would like to work with me, however I am passionate to work with people who are already pursuing a professional path.
