My name is Tim and I live in Schertz, Texas. I hold a BM and a BME from UTSA and an MM from Texas State. I also studied drama for 3 years at Trinity University. I have been a music teacher for 35 years. I have taught elementary music, secondary choir and college level music courses. I have performed in operas, musicals and plays in San Antonio and I have sung at Carnegie Hall in New York. I studied voice with Herald Stark and guitar with David Underwood. I have a Degree In Piano Pedagogy and other certifications as well as 30 years of experience teaching all levels . My students and their parents have said that I care and I make music fun . My goal is to instill a life long love of music .

I've been playing guitar since 1993. I have a degree in guitar performance. I've been teaching guitar since May of 2008. I love seeing people's understanding of music grow and seeing how their study of music helps them overcome obstacles in other areas of their lives.
