Hello,
My name is Randall Ward and I teach electric and acoustic guitar. Musical styles include blues, rock, jazz, slide guitar and fingerstyle. I’ve been teaching guitar for over 25 years. Lessons will generally include:
-Learning underlying techniques that promote good playing habits such as hand and wrist position, strumming and picking tendencies, fingerstyle, standard and hybrid picking.
-Learning songs in a musical style that’s appealing, will advance playing technique and is at an appropriate skill level for the student.
-When appropriate, music theory and applying it to guitar. For example, understanding chord symbols and chord const
