I teach English riding lessons, both in jumping and beginning dressage. I have taught riding for over ten years. My program focuses on safety and learning correct horsemanship, both on the ground and on horseback.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We begin by teaching the student how to move safely around a horse. We continue the lesson by teaching the student how to groom the horse and tack up the horse. As they begin the riding portion of the lesson, we evaluate their ability and the suitability of the horse for the skill level of the rider.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All GoldStar instructors have a background in horseback riding and some instructors have competition experience, both on horseback and coaching students.
