Welcome! The Equine Empowerment Center, Inc. provides a unique training program in mindfulness, self-compassion and ground-based horsemanship skills. Our training facilitates wellbeing, stress management and greater life satisfaction in the context of a horse-human relationship. We don't provide riding lessons, but our six-session program of mindful groundwork with horses is an excellent preparation for riding as we teach how to effectively communicate with horses and develop a meaningful horse-human relationship. Our teachers have decades of experience teaching mindfulness, self-compassion and horsemanship skills.
