About this pro

Golf is life. I love every aspect of the game and can help you learn and improve this game that will be enjoyed for a lifetime. I work with all ages and skill levels. And would love to introduce you to an approach to the game that will help you create a consistent swing and lower your scores.

I’m Kyle, currently in the PGA affiliate and apprentice program to become a member of the PGA. I’d love to set up a time to discuss your golf goals and talk about your game and what I teach to create a faster and more consistent swing. In addition I use Skytrack launch monitoring technology that helps us identify your strengths and weaknesses at address. I also do fittings and customizations for irons which really helps with consistently striking the ball (also known as the secret to successful ball striking) Please feel free to text me at (801) 580-7346 and we can set up a call. Hope to hear from you soon.

Stay Blessed,

I think that Kyle does a great job coaching. He is very patient and can identify where you need improvement immediately and gives you the coaching you need to fix your issues. In just one lesson I dropped several strokes off my game with his coaching. I will definitely take another lesson!

Kyle is a great instructor and is patient and personable, and knows a lot about the game if golf. Having his coaching for some time now has helped me improve so many aspects of mine and my husbands golf and truly makes the game more enjoyable for us.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

My process in working with a new student is identified in three steps.

1. Introduction Analysis - No Cost - Phone Call (5-10 Minutes)

2. Swing Analysis - $55 - Introduction (60-90 Minutes)

3. Short Game Analysis - $55 - Introduction (60 Minutes)

All new students start with the Introduction To Golf - Swing Analysis - After Introductory Phone Call. Short Game Analysis (optional).

After Successful Completion Of The Introduction Of Golf - Swing Analysis & Short Game. Students Can Qualify To Take The Introduction To Competitive Golf (club optimization, fitting/balancing, practice rounds, data metrics, handicap calculation)

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am many things. First and foremost, I am a golfer. That being said  I understand the game, the history, and the purpose it plays in my life. I use the game to improve. Not just in golf but in life. I am a father - golf teaches me patience, I am a student - golf teaches me practice, I am a son - golf teaches me love. I am many things, therefore, I am a golfer.

I have been a student of the game my entire life. I will continue to be a student of the game my entire life. I hope I can help you to find your passion and love for this game and help you on your journey to play, practice, improve, and repeat.

Currently in the apprenticeship program for golf management PGA.

How did you get started teaching?

I've always loved inspiring others and seeing that spark ignite for others inspires me.

I will never claim to be the best golfer, or even one that comes home with a trophy often. But every time I tee off I win. I win because I'm learning, improving, making mistakes, trying. I win because I am golfing. There are no short cuts here. And I wouldn't want one if there was. I try to teach and learn by that philosophy in life and in golf.

What types of students have you worked with?

One thing to know about me is I love people and I love golf. The game does not descriminate. It will chew you up and spit you out no matter what you look like, age, gender, ability, creed, color, preferences, history, status; THE GAME DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, the game can't be beat. Yes we can win a round or a tournament or a closest to the pin contest against another, but the game itself can't be beat. So In answer to the question of what types of students do I work with... I work with anyone that's ready to take the steps to try, fail, try again, fail some more, and learn, improve, enjoy, and love this game. And hopefully do it for a lifetime with those you love, those you like, and even with those you don't but are trying to like/love.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

July 2018, Carnousite Scotland. The Open Championship to win the coveted Claret Jug. Tiger Woods makes a birdie on number 9 giving him 1 shot lead heading into the final 9 holes on Sunday, with a chance to win his 4th Claret Jug... ( To Be Continued )

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

My advice to a student seeking expertise in golf is to be open. Be open to learning, be open to making mistakes, be open to trying, but most importantly be open minded. As my granny always said. The problem with being open minded is that people can put stuff in it. That's all im trying to do and I hope some of the stuff I put in it will stay for at least a while.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Why? Why do you want to learn? Why do you want to improve? Why do you want to golf?  Once you know that part it's all downhill from there... mostly... 😉
